About
Daniel Cook
Daniel Cook’s life in Acrobatic Gymnastics has led to success both on the competition floor as both and athlete and coach
His journey in the sport began at age 8, where he quickly fell in love with the sport. Progressing through the National Development Program, Daniel captured multiple national titles and working his way up to the FIG levels.
After years of hard work and commitment, Daniel fulfilled his lifelong ambition in 2014 when he was selected to represent Great Britain. He went on to win the title of British Champion, claimed two World Cup gold medals, and even secured a silver medal at the 2014 World Championships as part of a Senior Men’s Group. Daniel’s gymnastics career even led to performances on global stages and appearances on mainstream television, as part of Britain’s Got Talent winners, Spelbound. Credits include the Royal Variety show, Olympic Closing ceremony, and even an appearance on Comic relief!
Transitioning into coaching, Daniel has coached numerous British and international champions across multiple categories and age groups. He works closely with both current and aspiring members of the Great Britain squad - teaching elements, preparing routines and readying the gymnasts for competition. Daniel has become an expert in building solid foundations in younger gymnasts and developing them to long, successful careers at elite and international standard.
Today, Daniel travels the world, empowering gymnasts and coaches of all levels with the tools, techniques, and philosophies for success in Acrobatic Gymnastics and to help them take their standards to the next level.
